A. Processor Identification is somewhat of a black art. 
B. Intel releases processors more frequently than versions of Kix are released.
C. Take more vitamins and use the 54Kg system on your lap.
If you need up to the minute and accurate CPU identification, I'd create a table that you could maintain the ID to Description mapping in.

PS - I recall Doc and I working on something like this a while back - it became more work than it was worth (in my opinion) to maintain, not to mention tying code to a config file.
