So were you able to confirm your issues and get KiXtar running okay?
By default WScript.exe is probably hidden as discussed but items that print to the console should still show up unless you modify by policy or registry.
I would fist run a basic HELLO type batch file with a PAUSE in it to confirm
you have it running or not. If it's hidden you can still view it in the Task Manager to confirm it does run.
Then depending on what or how you want it to function you can apply a GPO to achieve those settings.
