Johan_1974 Johan_1974 Lurker Registered: 2006-11-12 Posts: 2	Hi, I have placed kix32.exe in the netlogon share of windows 2000. Also placed a batch file referring to kix32 and some test script. In the user profile i have entered the batch file name test.bat in the logon script box. Now when i log on with this username, kix32 does not start. I have placed an pause command in the batch command to be sure i did not miss it somehow, but norhing happens. What am i doing wrong? Thx, Johan

It creates a text-file in the userprofile of the logged on user. I disagree - the writing of a logonscript nowadays perhaps tend to be to the quiet side, while most common is a ugly window poping up my latest 'release' is silent, batchless, and logging, but only so by design. _________________________ as long as it works - why fix it? NTDOC NTDOC Administrator Registered: 2000-07-28 Posts: 11629 Loc: CA	So were you able to confirm your issues and get KiXtar running okay? By default WScript.exe is probably hidden as discussed but items that print to the console should still show up unless you modify by policy or registry. I would fist run a basic HELLO type batch file with a PAUSE in it to confirm you have it running or not. If it's hidden you can still view it in the Task Manager to confirm it does run. Then depending on what or how you want it to function you can apply a GPO to achieve those settings.
