But sometimes i wonder, it must be a bit depressing for the other drivers knowing that its nearly impossible to ever break even one of all his records. Such a domination is truly exceptional.

Seems poor old Shumi had some bad luck today. Its rue that Shumi is a great driver but I would not mind not seeing him as the world champion this year. Lets give a guy like Raikonen or some other driver that is driving as good as he can but just cant get to the Ferrari' and Renault cars a chance. I'm not a Shumi fan. Quote: .... I thought his last similar retirement was in 2000. but anyhow. mart, no raikonen or any other driver can no longer pass scumacher in points this year, so that comment is a bit hilarious. specially given that raikkonen is driving next year the ferrari. but, it indeed now seems alonso takes the championship again. with unfair luck, just like last year.

Sorry, I mean next year. Shumi is retiring after this season, Alonso is moving from Renault to McLaren so the opportunities are there for next season. Looking at the top10 below it is still possible for the two leaders to get even in points if Alonso gets no points in Brazil and Shumi wins. Who will be world champion then? I'm don’t know what the rules says but I think Shumi will still be world champion if he wins and Alonse gets 0 points because if Shumi wins in Brazil he has won 8 races and Alonse has got 7 wins they have the same amount of point but Shumi has won one more race.
