Hi,
Is it possible to have a functionality in KiXtart to read standalone EVT (event viewer) files. That would be really great.... plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....

This link refers to interrogating active event logs. The original poster wants to interrogate the off-line logs that exist as files.

alrighty then:

KiX is the swiss-army knife for scripting, LogParser is the Swiss army knife for log files

Love LogParser. It has a COM object too, so you can run it right from your KiX script.
