ok, i'm not convinced, but thanks for the long explanation. Especially the Dim thing doesnt really avoid typos, but maybe it helps finding them. But for that you have a lot more typing. I'm a lazy one, and apart from that, more typing = more possibilities for typos. Btw.: my (our ) script here is also very helpful for finding typos in variables (cause they will show up in the oprhan-section), without any extra work. And about the global variables, i used to find that a feature, too.
And that: Code:
$Match = 0 $Var = "$"
does belong there. Ok, you could add the "$" to the $var in another section, but its not useless or a typo and it has nothing to do with the declaration.
