NTDOC NTDOC Administrator Registered: 2000-07-28 Posts: 11628 Loc: CA	Well not really by the "limits" but certainly not anything above 100MPH unless you're quite willing to have your car impounded and possibly spend a week or more in jail in some parts of the Country. Just doesn't seem worth it. Taking a chance on a ticket/fine is one thing, but paying potentially thousand or more to get your car back after you get out of jail and possibly have now lost your job because you didn't show up for work is not quite the same somehow.

I am unable to find it quickly, however I only heard about through one of the TV shows that I watch. The law supposedly only applies to manufacturers that are doing the importing, if you buy your car in another country and you are the importer, then the law does not apply, so that is how owners of a high performance car can get one without it.

In the passenger seat of the two-seater I guess or was he driving one on his own? If so I'm so really really really really really freaking jealous. As far as I know it takes a serious physical check up before you are allowed to even be in the passenger seat of one of these cars. I guess they do not want someone dying or something during what they call a slow lap which is almost 100KM/hour faster then you even did in your own car. I've been in an 8 sec 1/4 mile car and that is FAST as heck. And talk about engine sound, I LOVE this sound.
