Getting the hang of it

Below is my student login script.

Problem 1.
The users see the three lines of text in the initital display section.. But they see them one at a time instead of all at the same time. How can I change this?

Problem 2
After the last line of text "...will be written on your desktop" two zero's are added (or perhaps it's the letter o?). Any idea why this is happening?

Thanks for any help. Jeremy

you talking about this:
Code:

$line = 6
Color g+/n
At ( $line ,5) "Welcome to the Bishop Grandin High School Computer Network"

Color g+/n
At ( $LINE ,5) "Please be patient while we connect your network drives and printers"

Color g+/n
At ( $LINE ,5) "The printers and drives available to you will be written on your desktop"

???

the lines are overwriting each other as your $LINE and ,5 remains same.
so, actually they are shown about the same time but always overwritten by the next one.
try this:
Code:

$line = 6
Color g+/n
At ( $line ,5) "Welcome to the Bishop Grandin High School Computer Network"

Color g+/n
At ( $LINE+1 ,5) "Please be patient while we connect your network drives and printers"

Color g+/n
At ( $LINE+2 ,5) "The printers and drives available to you will be written on your desktop"

the zeros come from your addprinterconnection and setdefaultprinter functions.
there is a faq on this board "why does my console display zero's and one's" or something alike.

anyways, shortly, you can prevent this by preceding every one of these functions with $something =
like this:
Code:

$nothing = addprinterconnection ($s1 + "\library")
$nothing = setdefaultprinter ($s1 + "\library")
