What you expect. France and Swiss stayed out of WWII pretty much too.

Not that France had much of a choice and was more a victim rather than an opponent.

As an Australian I am very much enjoying the World Cup. Australia has only been to the World Cup once before in 1974 and I wasn't even 1 at the time. In that World Cup we only got one goal in the competition and it was a home goal!

On Sunday, not only did we get our first goal against an opposition (Japan), we got 3! It was a remarkable match as we were losing 1-0 (unfairly) until the final 7 minutes. As you can imagine, the final 7 minutes were absolutely incredible to watch.

We are actually now at the top of our group; even above Brazil! Everyone here is really enjoying our good fortune while it lasts as we have no expectations nor illusions that it will continue (we're ranked 44th in the world and we're playing Brazil next)

Hehe you got a great (Dutch ) coach. Look what he did at the previous world cup in Korea.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hiddink
They defeated Italy in the 2002 world cup. The next match a banner was on the stands saying "Welcome to Azzuri's tomb" (Azzuri's being Italians). Nobody expected them to get that far in the tournament.

Or that Japanese fans would hang banners that read “Welcome to Your Tomb” like the “Welcome to Azzuri’s Tomb” banner the Koreans hung.

Also Korea and Trinidad/Tobago use a Dutch coach. So that makes four Dutch guys coaching world cup teams

Right now it is the 70th minute of the World cup final. I prefer France as the winner. It's a tribute to Zidane... What a wonderfull player!!!
