SASKINN SASKINN Fresh Scripter Registered: 2006-06-06 Posts: 10	Hi i need help with this: i want to get the access rights/permission groups of a folder, after that i want to set/modify the rights on that folder. can somebody help me? thanks SASKINN

glwday glwday Fresh Scripter Registered: 2002-08-01 Posts: 11	I would use something like this; Shell('cmd /c cacls "$dirinstallto" /t /e /c /g $localgroup:R administrators:F system:F /r $everyone Users %username%') the /g grants permissions and /r removes them See http://www.ss64.com/nt/cacls.html for full details of useage Regards
