WJR WJR Lurker Registered: 2002-01-10 Posts: 3 Loc: Florida	I have been trying to run some simple group mappins. I have checked rights and the mapping will work for some groups but not others. IF INGROUP ("LBO-ATL-GA") RUN "net use f: /d /y" RUN "net use f: \\ntfs1\lbo-atl-ga" ENDIF

WJR WJR Lurker Registered: 2002-01-10 Posts: 3 Loc: Florida	The logic is working the problem seems to be the groups are not found. For example if the group "OPS" is used the maping works. If the group "LBO_ATL_GA" is used the login fails. It seems like the the groups are limited to 8 characters.

Will Hetrick Will Hetrick Hey THIS is FUN Registered: 2001-10-02 Posts: 320 Loc: Harrisburg, PA USA	WJR, The groups are not limited to 8 characters because I successfully use Case InGroup("CWOPA\RV-PERSONNEL-ALL") in my script. There has to be something else. Most of the time it is a missing quote in a previous line somewhere that is the culprit. I did notice from your first posting to the last posting that your format changed on your group from LBO-ATL-GA TO LBO_ATL_GA. _________________________ You have at least 2 choices. Each choice changes your destiny. Choose wisely!
