I know that according to Kixtart rules you cannot use (&)as part of your script, but I was trying to reset some passwords with a script I have and part of the admin pwd has the (&) character. Is there a way around this so that I could use this character?

thx

Well think you need to show us the code you're using as this works fine for me.

my bad, my bad

I was doing the wrong thing, according to "scripting with Kixtart"
there is a section that says the following about variables "the only limitation in naming a variable is that it may not contain operator characters
(+,-,*,/,&,<,>,=) or a period.)

this was were I was making my mistake, I was putting the (&) in front of a variable.

I changed it and it worked.....
