Hi there,

Is there any way to grab commandline parameters within a kix script?

Thanks,
JT

From the manual

Optionally, variables can be created and assigned a value on the commandline with which KiXtart is started. To do this, type the variable name followed by an equal sign (=) and the value the variable should have. For example:

KIX32 Demo.kix $Key=Value

Note
On the commandline, do not include spaces between the equal sign (=) and the value. If you want to specify a value that contains spaces, enclose it in quotation marks (for example, KIX32 Demo.kix $Key="Hi there").

Thats great. Thanks very much.

I did actually try to rtfm, but couldn't find it. I 'thought' i'd used a macro before to read the parameters but am possibly thinking of a method in vbscript.

Anyway, that'll do it.

I wrote a work-around some time ago in batch. I also tried to do it in vbscript, but it has problems with quotes.
