Got myself a Qtek 9000 connecting to work through VPN. Then using RDP to connect to my servers ;-)

This can also be done with a PDA like the HP iPaq or something like it. So there is no need for a blackberry. One plus that the blackberry has and the iPaq does not have is that it is also a phone so there is no need to walk around with two of these things in your pocket.
the new treo's from verizon do this too and are a phone... and talk straight to the exchange server (2003) with out haveing to have a desktop redirector or a Blackberry enterprise server!

Yeah, I'd expect many devices can remotely get into your network now days so not too impressed with any of them. I'd think by now they would all offer it in their brochures as the technology is a bit old

Work would not spring for the costs for me to have one back then, but Compaq reps had one and demo'd it. Was pretty slick back then. Now days though just used to all these little toys having connectivity to just about everything.
