If NLtest returns the old domain name then the migration is not done or screwed up and should be done or corrected.
In this case I’d not go for @domain but use NLtest instead.
Like Howard said DO NOT touch the trust until all wksta’s are migrated and the old domain is ready to get trashed. Just delete (or disable) the wksta and user account in the old domain right after they are migrated.
