I write a blog for IT Toolbox on careers in IT. Today I started a series on scripting for network professionals. It ties to my view (and others) that innovation in IT organizations happens first by IT automating IT - allowing for time to learn the business, perform analytics, and create more valuable tools because the IT professional is not performing mundane tasks.
I've pointed my blog here - a few thousand readers should see it over the next several days.
One thing I would love is some success stories from any of you who wish to contribute or add to the blog.
