Just to note, the Northwest corner of the US is quite a bit warmer for the past 10 years than it had been before. We're used to at least 2 weeks of snow, but we haven't had more than half a day of slush this winter. It's been averaging 10 celcius, which is quite warm for this time of year.... Lots of mesquitos to contend with, already.... :-\

Miss snow??

Everybody here is always yelling about white Christmas and stuff but it almost never happens.
This year it snowed on December 27th but it was white for just a day or so. On December 30th there was some heavy snow and everybody is complaining about the snow. December 31st it was raining a little so all the snow melted and they cried again about having snow but just for a day. Ask for snow and when it’s comes complain about the blocked roads and all that sh#t Make up your mind and stop crying I’d say.

Snow is cool and if it was up to me we would have lots off snow and low 20's F each winter and some sun and around 75 F in the summer.

So do I miss now? Yeah! Wouldn’t mind having it each winter.

I like it how we have it now. It's warm most of the year and if I really want snow I can drive an hour or so to it and don't have to live in it. Visiting snow and living in snow is two different things.

I lived in the snow enough when I was in Germany as a young adult and in Southern Georgia - I'll take visiting it myself.

I love snow even when I'm stuck in traffic because of the snow. The world looks much nicer when it is covered with snow. I love to skate and ski in the winter but like said before (probably caused by the global warming) it isn't cold enough anymore to skate on the ice. My children don't know what it is to skate on ice. When I want to ski I have to drive +/-500KM to Germany or +/-1000KM to the Alps. I hate snow when it's melting and what I hate the most of all is glazed ice .
