Reminds me of when I was kid. I lived half way up a mountain & they use to plow our road with a gaint cat the size of our house (I was only 10 then & this might have biased my perspective). The reason it sticks in my mind is the school bus was always right behind the cat - in all the years we lived there I never missed a school day due to snow. I envied those city kids who got a day off every time the snow exceeded a foot.

When I lived in Edmonton (the coldest place I ever lived), young males tended to go outside in shirts or sweaters as soon as the temperature hit about -5 C (abot 30 F). A heat wave in July was 75 F. Given this perspective 60 F is down right balmy.

PS: I am home sick today so I thought I would visit you guys.
