Hello and welcome to the board.
Well a GPO might be the best, but some/most can be done by logon script and/or remote Admin script.
There are UDFs to perform just about any task you can think of. Do some reading/searching and then let us know if you need specific help.
You can set IE settings during logon and map printers too.
