Bandwidth to run KIX ....

Hi,
2 sites, the first one (2 DC + 1 Terminal + 1 Exchange), the second site (only PC´s)
could someone tell me how much bandwidth is required to run a KIX Script??
the script will be used to map net drives and configure outlook only.

How much, I couldn't say... obviously the size of the exe is small, But I'd think the the greatest amount would be to the DC to evaluate group memberships and such or AD queries if you have such in your script would generate the most traffic.
Kix does cache user/group membership info, so if your sites are fairly static, that would eliminate much of that traffic, and if you have a DC at each site, it should eliminate much of the WAN traffic.

You should take one of your spare pcs (when you get one), and just make a DC for that site anyway, and establish a site in AD sites and services. That way you can schedule AD replication, eliminate the question altogether. An added benefit is that you can have your printer shares for that site out there and a DFS share for any apps or files that the two sites share. Your worries about kix are the least of your concerns if your printing and serving apps over a wan link. Kixtart will not cause any noticable bandwidth problems outside of what you already experience.
Also, you can use lmscript emulation to at least eliminate the sending of the executable to the station.

How many PCs are at your second site, and what's the bandwidth (T1, etc)?
I would discourage a 3rd DC for just a handful of PCs. The replication traffic between your DCs may end up being more than all your PCs make during normal daily logins. Don't forget DC's replicate about every 15 minutes.

i have 15 Workstations on the other site and the bandwidth is about 512 KB.
