Hey all,

I'm having problems using AT under windows NT 4.0 (old school style) scheduling a script. I've used the following command :

at 12:00 /interactive cmd.exe /c "pathtoscript"

Thing is, when I execute my script I don't have any problem. When Scheduled, the script doesn't seem to reach my network attached drives for instance. I'm leaning toward an account problem. Are the script run under the LocalSystem Account ? Can it be changed ?
The script is simple, it checks existing files on a network drive (nothing fancy) but it ain't working

Any idea ?

Thanks

Michael

Hey all again,

I've used that part of my brain that still works and decided to give a try to Scheduled Tasks, defining which user launches what and guess what ? it works

Still, is there a way to make it work using AT ?

Thanks

Michael

when the scripts is run by at or by scheduled tasks, it is run by default with the system account
who is a local account and has no access to networks resources.

if your script needs network resource, you should specify a domain account.

In addition to what Christophe already outlined:

For AT you have to define this domain account to be the user the Scheduler Service runs with (so no single job/ other user with that way)
