Obviously Microsoft has nothing to worry about in the short-term (although I think there's a few beads of sweat forming) ... found this rather interesting table of market share by region (USA/CDA/UK) ... Mozilla's browsers global usage share is still growing according to OneStat.com Last time I checked KoRG it was something like this ... Internet Explorer 6.x ... 70.3 % Mozilla Firefox 1.x ..... 24.0 % Tech sites are always skewed though ...

Mozilla will do a few weeks of heavy advertising and then Microsoft can still review anything good/bad about FireFox and the other slew of browsers and then do a media blitz if wanted that no one else could afford to do as they finish up and offer IE 7

The other thing is, one of my favor "features" from the previous versions got "broke" ... one used to be able to have a proxy-server defined (for example, your work proxy) but when using ff from home, ff used to still work correctly directly connected to the internet (didn't have to twiddle the setting) ... this no worky no more. oh well.
