The bar should be charged with attempted murder!

How Much Alcohol Is Lethal?

Most authorities agree that a lethal dose of alcohol is about 0.40 percent, or about five times the 0.08 legal limit of many states. Death from alcohol poisoning may occur at much lower levels, however, especially with inexperienced drinkers. For a 120-pound individual, it would only take about nine to ten drinks in an hour to reach the lethal level.

hmmmm... well if weight alone was the factor I suppose I could never die from drinking too much in an hour as my wallet could not afford 25 drinks an hour.

well, guess you don't have the tequila traditional contest there then?
place 20 (or if you can't afford, 10) tequila shots on the table and then each one participating drinks one on his turn.
it's quite usual to pass out some drinks before that 20.

oh and some years ago, one guy, not far from here, went even home after a contest (not to mention, he and his fellows were drinking before that too, as they were just on a cruise) and was found dead in his bed (iirc, but in his home anyway)

Well they do say that the definition defines 1/2 the population would die from such levels. That does leave the other 1/2 that "might" live with higher levels.
