am I stupid or...

can you export a report of mailbox sizes from it by calling it via commandline?

Not stupid. I do not believe there is a command line for the Exchange System Manager.

well, think that explains why someone would want to script it.

and, in 5.5 there was whole lot what one could do with the exchange admin via commandline.

Does anyone know of someway I can find out if they definitely have more than 2+ gigabyes?

Are you saying that you can represent the value as a string correctly? If so, just drop the last six digits off the string using string functions to get an approximate MB figure. That will fit comfortably into any of the KiXtart base numerical types.

It will eventually be incorporated into a workstation info script (something like Doc’s computer info script) that user should fire up before calling and reporting problems. All the info is on the users screen if they run the script so it is much easier to help them. It would be a little bit overkill (understatement of the day) to install ESM on all workstations and there will also be some privileges issues.

Each user can access his/here own mailbox by default so they can get the data. If one of my users has 2GB or more is his/here mailbox we would be having a whole lot more important issues to deal with then them not being able to pull the info from exchange.
