JohnQ JohnQ Starting to like KiXtart Registered: 2003-03-04 Posts: 171	Does anyone know why the last boot time would not be returned when selecting the LastBootUpTime from Win32_OperatingSystem ? It works fine on several thousand servers, but I've got about a hundred or so (WIN2K boxes) that won't return a time. The problem children return other values via WMI just fine. Is there another reliable way to determine the last time a box was rebooted? Thanks

You could use "uptime" - I think I got it in a resource kit.

AFAIK it just interrogate the system log for you.

Otherwise, use e.g. ReadEventlog() to retrieve the last start-up time. _________________________ There are two types of vessels, submarines and targets.
