I actually managed to kill our company NT4 print server (with 90 printers on it) this afternoon my installing a piece of crappy software on it that caused some dll hell causing endless DrWatsons on Explore.exe. Using Backup Exec to restore the system I managed to make the system non-bootable, interestingly when things start to go wrong they really do go wrong. But.. I was imaginative... restored the Full and Differential backups of the print server to a directory on the network, booted from PE2005, did a quick prayer and used robocopy /mir. And damn, it was the quickest disaster recovery I've ever done
