Hi All,

Telnet can be used to check whether a port is accessible or not. If you get the statement "Could not open a connection to host", it can be considered that port is NOT opened. I wanted to extract this output from the command window, but Kixtart currently does not have this feature. Can something of this sort be incorporated in the NEXT release?

so, wshpipe() didn't work for you?
kixtart would need a pipe function or command (see Expect on google ) to receive the output of the shell/run.

I'd rather see simple sockets enabled in kixtart.
should not be hard to incorporate and would have much more use than just pipe()
well, both have their uses but...
