Windows 2000 introduced the concept of allowing computers to be added to groups. I'd like to see ingroup modified to allow me to easily determine whether my workstation is a member of a group.

It has been suggested before and there is at least one UDF that does it today.

Please take a look at this UDF. Remember that UDF scripts require KiXtart 4.x


ComputerInGroup() - returns if the PC is a member of a specified group
