Trying to move our user folders to SAN server.OS is W2K
Was able to move it but when I run the script to reconnect
to the drive. It is mapping to the higher level. D:\\servername\users\kki rather than kki on servername\users (D).
Any ideas or solutions.
Thanks.

Kay

Which client OS are you trying to map this to?

BTW - Welcome to the board.

Like SWK suggested, can you show us your script?

KiX is SOOOOO much nicer to work with than BATch files kkayies. Have you used KiX before? If not, we can help get you started by converting that BATch. The guys on this forum are GREAT!

What is your network OS environment?

Here is an example of doing this in KiXtart 4.23

If you're on AD then you should not be using the NET TIME like this but shoud let the AD time service handle the time for your systems.

Dim $SO
$SO=SetOption('Explicit','On')
$SO=SetOption('NoVarsInStrings','On')
$SO=SetOption('WrapAtEOL','On')

Dim $Admin
$Admin=IIf(InGroup(@WKSTA+'\'+SidToName('S-1-5-32-544'))-1+@INWIN=1,1,0)
If $Admin
SHELL '%COMSPEC% /e:1024 /c NET TIME /DOMAIN:mydomain /SET /Y ' + ' >nul 2>nul'
EndIf
use m: /delete /persistent
use u: /delete /persistent
use v: /delete /persistent
use w: /delete /persistent

use n: '\\servername\foldername'+'$'
use o: '\\servername\foldername'
use q: '\\servername\foldername'
use t: '\\servername\foldername'
use u: '\\servername\foldername\'+@UserID
use v: '\\servername\foldername'
use w: '\\servename\foldername'
