Many low bandwidth connections deploy compression so making the package smaller is often a false economy.
I still am not clear where this topic is heading. UPX has issues with 4.5 which has been discussed. What do you want done about it?
Packaging vs. local caching with CRC checking has been covered as well, so where to from here?
