Hello there, Is there any one who can help me to change any computer name and IP addres remotelly by using KIX? our server is a Windows Backoffice 4.5 and the workstations are Windows 2000 professional.

IP, you should be able to change, but you will then need to do an IPCONFIG /release and then an IPCONFIG /renew.. Computer Name is going to be more challenging as it is stored in the SID. We use GHOSTWALKER and it works very well.. The only problem we have had with it is when the same computer name exists on the network.

I've got a slightly different problem which is part of this : I need to remotely renew all leases on the network. I've tried a ipconfig /release ; ipconfig /renew, but the users do not have the rights to do this.
