Well I found something for MSN - "MSN A-Patch 1.09", which has a shitload of features. It has problems together with MSN Plus!, but just removing the Ads works

Make a backup of your executable!

masken, how it differs from the tabserve patch?
does it also clean the commercial banner from down there and does it disable loading of costly smilies and stuff?

eah... the tabs are under Tools > Security > [v] Do not dosplay my tabs, this is a shared computer

...free translation, dunno what the exact words are in English... or Finnish

then there are the new ones but they are not that annoying as you won't see them all the time.

That Q6 link is annoying as hell. Good place to put an AD though, because your always looking down there to see who's typing - bloody annoying though.

idk - i didn't see any fine-print about trial offers or anything (usually good about spotting that kinda stuff). thought it was just kinda like the "hotmail" of blogs.
