Anonymous Anonymous Unregistered	what do you mean Les? All users run the same script, only a check has been done if it's a WIndows XP client. If it is, that line should be executed to change permissions on that subkey in the registry.

Les Les KiX Master Registered: 2001-06-11 Posts: 12734 Loc: fortfrances.on.ca	There is a flaw in your logic. If a user does not have permission to the reg key, the user cannot change the permission. KiX runs in the security context of the user. Run a central admin script from a computer that has a user with admin rights to those boxes and change the perms over the network. _________________________ Give a man a fish and he will be back for more. All systems are prepared with an image dvd....automates the rest Only that damn reg-key-permission has to change. So...i really want to do it in the default script, username and pass in the script and than execute setacl.exe with admin rights.....
