There are three bbs admins on the board now. I'm one, NTDOC and Jooel are the other two, we can perform certain bbs admin functions, depends on what your after ... you can PM your request to any or all three of us if you want.

If you want to talk to Henri, the super-admin dude, than will just have to patient and persistent i think.

Hey Shawn,

Who reads the info@kixtart.nl e-mail?

This is in regards to not receiving notification from the board any longer. Our e-mail guys state that these notifications aren't even getting to the external relays and therefore aren't being blocked by spam software. I need someone to send an e-mail from info@kixtart.nl over the mail server that the BBS uses with a delivery reciept to a corporate mailbox we have that's filter free and then send me the delivery reciept and/or failure notice.

Is this something you guys can do or is this for Henri? Our e-mails guys also e-mail abuse@kixtart.org and postmaster@kixtart.org to verify that our domain hasn't been blacklisted for some unknown reason. I'm assuming that they haven't gotten a response from there either.

ja, afaik that address is strickly Henri's. I know that email notification does work (I get it), so must be some problem there ja.

Hopefully, Henri will see this note - I will personally follow-up with an email to have him look at this thread.

Have you tried putting a hotmail addy in your profile to see if it's your addy or your profile that is wonked?

the point being, that henri's system has trouble with some addies.
I remember ppl being not able to even register due to that cause.

When I have my personal mail addy in there, it works fine. But, if I have my personal mail forward to my corporate mail, they never get there?

My corporate mail addy worked fine up until late november of last year.

I wish you luck, but to be honest. Henri runs this board for all of us for free (though it does cost him).

So one or two users don't get e-mail notice like they should. If you were in Henri's shoes, how much time or effort would you spend on it?

Not trying to be negative or anything like that, but just want to point out a little bit of reality to the problem. If it were something affecting every users or hundreds of users that makes the issue perhaps a little more noticeable.

If it really bothers you that much, hopefully Henri does have the time to look into it further.

Doc, I'm only asking for a single e-mail (for now) hoping the delivery receipt confirms or denies enough info our e-mail admins to work with.

It does bother me as tracking more than one current topic is time consuming and tracking older topics is practically impossible.

If henri doesn't have the time, there are several responsible people on this site who'd be able to take some of the load off. I'm not trying to bite the hand that feeds me, but I do expect a minimal amount of support in a reasonable amount of time as should all users of this service.

Hello :-)

I'm here.... probably the e-mail got lost in the bulk I receive every day. I do not use any kind of blacklist, so there's no reason why mail doesn't get delivered. There have been no network changes so this is also not the reason..... If someone has any suggestions?

I'm also not receiving any email notifications, but that's been a minor issue for me.

However, since the new BBS upgrade, I do no longer see the new post indicators, like the number of new posts per thread in the forum view or the topics highlighted in bold that contain new posts. Using the 'InfoPop' skin, thus might be a skin problem?
