This has been suggested many times before. The only drawback is that it could break some current functionality, depending on what is used to start/end the comment block. But there could always be another setoption to turn it on - SetOption("CommentBlock","On")
Luckily, EditPlus allows me to comment and uncomment in blocks, so i don't have to go line by line anymore.
