Hi all!We have a couple of servers that we would like to schedule unattended backups on, using NT Backup and the RSM in Win2000. The solution i'm looking for is a schedule that takes a full backup twice a week and uses 2 sets of tapes (ie, monday week 1, monday week 2, thursday week 1, thursday week 2). What i want to accomplish is an automation of this without any more user interference than the change of tapes. With the change of tapes I also want to be able to check what tape is in the drive (Travan 5), is it possible to do this with NTBACKUP.exe or RSM (i've looked here, but didn't find anything about tape handling..)? The idea was to check the tapestatus before the actual backup is scheduled, and warn the person responsible for changing tapes that he/she should do so (via BLAT). Have somebody done something like this with the help of KiX?
