expodium expodium Fresh Scripter Registered: 2004-07-14 Posts: 35	hi, I wanna make a kixfile and when running, i put 1 pmarameter. Ex. : test.exe old How i can get the "old" parameter so i can use in the code? Many thanks to all expodium

How to use it in a shortcut? i made it first as a executable file and then i need a shortcut of that file and in that shortcut, i put the params in it Ex: c:\extvar.exe myvar="old" when, i catch the parameter, its empty. regards, expodium Edited by expodium (2004-12-06 12:43 PM)

The KiXtart Editor is not part of KiXtart, it is a 3rd party support tool. If you haven't done it already, you'd be better off posting your question on the KiXtart Editor support site as you will probably get a quicker response. Of course you are welcome to post any questions about KiXtart itself here.

Stevie Stevie Starting to like KiXtart Registered: 2002-01-09 Posts: 199	It depends on if you're using KiXscripts Editor or if you're using the newer AdminScriptEditor. For the former, use $EXECmdLine in the script to return the command line arguments passed to the exe. For the latter, use %ASEEXEARGS%.
