Hi All
Is there any way to list all the object propoerties of Windows 2000 AD, I want to change some of the user properties using a script I have found for user creation?

enumerate object properties

After you list them, MSDN is very valuable explaining how to use them as some require data in arrays other require strings.

WinNT:// and LDAP:// provide different properties for the same object.

Hi Again

Following on from this query, does anyone have any sample code for moving users from one container to another. My AD users are created in the users container by default, I then want to move them to another OU which applies security policies to these users?

Would be grateful for any help.

You should be able to find some other references by using the "Search" tool on the board and searching for "LDAP MoveHere" anding the search words.

Yes, it can be coded, but a better practice would be to create the account in the OU where they will reside in the first place.

Here is a link to a Microsoft vb script that can easily be converted to KiXtart.
