Well... a quick search of the board did not turn up anything from me. Not sure if I even kept the script or not. I did find a few shortcuts I had for testing. I am going from memory here now so there may be some things left out.

Basically, it involved several steps that I did over long time span. I first swapped the GINAs, putting the MSGINA in place of the NWGINA.

I created a silent install of the NetWare client and then launched it.
\\server\share\NWClient\nc483sp2\WINNT\i386\setupnw.exe /U:\\server\share\NWClient\nc483sp2\WINNT\i386\unattend.txt

Then I used snetcfg.exe to remove the IPX/SPX protocol:
snetcfg.exe -u ms_nwipx
