shawn, 4.72 is dependant of shell-upgrade.
it does not come with any OS pre-installed, iirc.
on the other hand, you can install all the latest updates you can find but still have the 4.0 if you can't get your hands on shell-upgrade package or the original 100MB IE4 installer which included it.
