I've been following the thread over at bugtrak, its interesting to note how this whole thing is playing out. I'm not sure why Russ didn't post Mr. Thomas's comments - maybe it was too "sky-is-falling-like" idk. But he shouldn't be filtering them based on personal bias.
But Russ made a point about the need to get SP2 the home user through AU, and the need to get this down to them ASAP (after all according to Russ, these home user's our the source of all our corp. it virus/worm/trojan woes) ...
But my buddy here at work makes an interesting point ... how many of these same home user's are running cracked versions of Windows XP ? As we all know - SP2 won't install on those even if they did have AU turned on (which they probably don't).
