The existing files must be replaced. 2. for new users, I will define the wallpaper. I have tried with SETWALLPAPER(wallpaper.bmp). After the command, the backgrount is frozen and blue (it does not function correctly) 3. I will set an other wallpaper on the welcomescreen before I press "crt+alt+del" for login. q: where I finde the SMS-Kixtart and informations about adminlogin's ? Thank you for help

On XP all files in the Windows Dir are protected from normal users, I use BGInfo to set wallpaper with system info on it, but it doesn't work on XP as the user doesn't have the necessary rights to make the new wallpaper file. Is this the type of problem you're having? I used CACLS to change the permissions to the BGInfo.bmp when ever an admin logs on. This fixes all new PC's as Admin logs on to set them up so the file is sorted before the users get them. I've yet to fix the existing PC's though. acmp<>< _________________________ Every day is a school day
