I was wondering if there is a simple way to have kixtart back up the drivers from the machine to somewhere on the network?

My work situation is one where I have nearly 40 unique machines, and constantly looking up drivers when reloading one of them is annoying.

Any thoughts?
Thanks for your time.

Reinstalling the operating system.
It doesn't happen very often for each individual machine, but when I do have to format/reinstall, it's frustrating at times to look up old driver information.

Just a thought.

Have you seen - WinDriversBackup?

Don't think it works across the network.

Create a proper imge for peployment and include the drivers ont he image itself. No need to look on the network for updated drivers. Use a combination of SysPrep and a ghosting/imaging tool for this.

Thanks kdyer, this is exactly what I was looking for.

It won't back up across the network unless it's a pre-existing mapped drive.

Thanks again.
