Melvin_Elderman Melvin_Elderman Fresh Scripter Registered: 2004-07-13 Posts: 5	We have a Windows 2003 Domain. We migrated from a NT4 Domain. We use Kix 4.22 Ive change a(n old NT4 group) securitygroup name and KiX doesnt accept it as a valid INGROUP("newname"). When i use INGROUP("oldname") it does work. Gpresult shows the correct group name. Also all AD resolves of the SID are correct. It looks like Kix looks at an old name. Is this a known bug and is there a sollution?

Melvin_Elderman Melvin_Elderman Fresh Scripter Registered: 2004-07-13 Posts: 5	Nope still no succes. Im patching it by making other (new) groups and putting the renamed in the new ones. That seems to work but not very nice.

Only persons that were in the group before the rename. Reneming their membership doesnt work. Indeed seems like a cache thing... Is there another way to clear the kix cache?

Melvin_Elderman Melvin_Elderman Fresh Scripter Registered: 2004-07-13 Posts: 5	yep that did it. I also understood with the HKCU that the flush should be done on the client PC. That also worked. How long till the cache clears automatically?
