Rory, ja - we didn't want to give our user settime priv, either explicitly through rights or by making them power user or local admins. Anyway its a mute point - our "boss user" came back and said "to hell with them (the users), if they can't use the std clock/calendar then so be it. they probably got two or three real ones on their friggin desk anways" ... lol

So all that hard-work to build a little custom app was for naught - even got it running from the system tray ! (wah) ...
