I've just discovered that I'm having a problem with INGROUP. I've looked over the script so much as a .kix file and in DEBUG that now I've got crossed eyes; probably making this an easy one for you professionals.

In debug mode my script runs through 23 of the INGROUP lines and successfully maps those drives. But after the 23rd, it seems that it could care less. It takes no notice of the 24th - 27th INGROUP lines. I've checked the syntax against the working INGROUPs but can see no difference.

Where do I turn next ?

You probably have a missing quote/end-quote somewhere, if you post the entire script we can eyeball it for you, if you don't want to post the entire script - fully understand that too. Your call.

My first guess would be that you have a stray character after the 23rd. Look for a missing quote or a curly. If you rem out a few at the top, does it change how many will enum?

Are you getting any errors in the event log? As I had a similar InGroup problem which was related to the Windows 2000 server config. I had the following Event Errors: 15, 534, 1000, 1053, 1789. Microsoft KB 262958 resolved them and the InGroup problem for me.

Also note that the older version of Kixtart (3.62) gave these Event errors but InGroup still actually processed properly. Whereas 4.2 gave the Event errors and did not process. If you find a fix, please post what it was! Rob

OMG think I just found it....
There was no ENDIF on the end of the 23rd group.
Still testing but I'm sure thats it.

Properly indenting code would alleviate these types or problems.

INDENTING/MISSING ENDIFs, etc...

Look into the use of KiXStrip.. There is a post with regard to it in the FAQ Forum right here.
