Hi,

I am very new to kix so any help would be great - i have created a kix file with all the settings i want to process at login, and i have also created a logon script to process the kix file. When a user logs in with this script - it says it cannot run kix32.exe, becasue UNC paths are not supported... The logon.cmd is located in the group policy object, and kix32 is in the netlogon folder of each login server... so not sure why its doing this.

Any help would be great, also excuse me if im being dumb

Hello and welcome to the board.

If you're clients are all NT/2000/XP then you don't need to launch KiX with a batch or cmd file.

Please review this FAQ from our FAQ section and hopefully that will get you going. If you're still having problems getting it to run let us know.

This is a GPO script. How do you call KiX from a GPO?

Thanks for all your help,

I seem to have sorted it now, the server that was authenticating the test user was not replicating the netlogon share correctly - therefore the correct files were not being processed!!

So it is working now, im off to have a play!
