tonyh tonyh Getting the hang of it Registered: 2002-01-09 Posts: 55 Loc: UK	Hi I have a problem with the below shell cmd line Shell '%comspec% /c msiexec /i "hummingbird exceed.msi" TRANSFORMS=1033.mst /q Reboot="ReallySupress"' within dos msiexec /i "hummingbird exceed.msi" TRANSFORMS=1033.mst /q Reboot="ReallySupress" works with no problems. it must Im missing a few "" or something - Please can some help. Richard H. Richard H. Administrator Registered: 2000-01-24 Posts: 4946 Loc: Leatherhead, Surrey, UK	It doesn't look too bad. Are you getting an error? Is that your entire script? Try without the "%comspec% /c" - you don't need it if you are not using any DOS shell features.

Chris S. Chris S. MM club member Registered: 2002-03-18 Posts: 2368 Loc: Earth	Hmm. Not sure why you would need quotes around %comspec%, unless you have a space in the path. You should take Richard's advice, however, as %comspec% /c is unnecessary.
