Hi,

I want to know if it is possible to retrieve a String (which is returned by a java program) in the kix script ??
I need to move a folder. The name of it depends on what the user has entered in a field (on the Java interface)...
I call the kix script from a batch file, that is executed by the java program...

Thank you for your help !!

It the variable is passed to the batch file as a parameter the following will set $KIXVARIABLE:
Code:
kix32 myscript.kix $KIXVARIABLE="%1"

If the value is passwd as an environment variable it may be used directly.

This is well documented in the KiXtart Manual.
