SteveM SteveM Lurker Registered: 2004-06-17 Posts: 2	Hi All, Fairly new to this Kixtart business. We have a script running which does exactly what we want, but I would like to add an url onto each person's desktop which takes the person to the Helpdesk self help system. Does anyone know how I can achieve this ? TIA Steve

Hope this helps.... Code: If InGroup("YourGroupName") ? "Placing Icon on your Desktop ....." Copy "\\servername\foldername\icon.txt" "C:\Documents and Settings\@USERID\Desktop" _________________________ Thanks ~ Trox John Wayne's not dead - he's frozen. Code: Copy "\\servername\foldername\icon.txt" "C:\Documents and Settings\@USERID\Desktop" Assumes that the profile name is @USERID, which it is possible that it is not. Could be "username.domain" instead, for example. Better would be... Code: If Exist("%USERPROFILE%") Copy "\\servername\foldername\some.url" "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop" EndIf
